The topic given to us was adversity, and we were asked to base a 30 sec short film around this theme. Our film was about a man name Fred who had a bit of a drinking problem and drank everyday of the week. We end the film with a message to him saying “leave your mates at home Fred” and “drink responsibly”
When planning our film we were made to think about things like storyboards and scripting. Storyboarding is a technique where you lay out a series of images to ensure they flowed. By doing this scenes could be added or taken away easily. Scripting within short films can be explained as a explanation of everything which will be taking place. For example it has in details factors such as lighting music and dialogue
When making this film we had to consider many things such as the sequence, we thought this would be best done by putting the days of the week at the top of your “backdrop” to explain to the viewer more clearly what is going on.
